Who can do this Founding officer
Before you start
- You'll need a work email you can open now and a mobile phone that can receive text messages.
Steps
- Go to the Register page.
- Under About your society, enter the society’s registered name, choose your Country, the Type of institution and the approximate number of members.
- Under About you, enter your full name, your office, your work email and your mobile phone. We’ll send sign-in codes to this number.
- Create a password with 12 or more characters, at least one letter and at least one number.
- Tick the box to agree to the terms on behalf of your society, then select Create my account.
What happens next
We send a confirmation link to your email. It expires in 24 hours. Nothing about your real society is fixed yet. You can correct the details in set-up step 1.
Common problems
"This password has appeared in a data breach. Choose a different one."
Choose a password you haven't used anywhere else. A short phrase of four unrelated words works well.
"Too many attempts from this connection. Please wait 15 minutes and try again."
Wait for the time shown. If you share a network with others, try from a different connection.
