Who can do this Board
Steps
- Open Network (or answer Affiliated to a district union? in set-up step 1).
- Search for your district union and select Request affiliation.
- Check the terms shown (dues per member, placement ceiling and refinance ceiling) and confirm it’s you.
What happens next
The district union approves or rejects the request. Once approved, your society links to it and the first dues are scheduled.
Common problems
"This society is already affiliated to another union"
A society can belong to only one parent. Ask the current parent to release the affiliation first.
"A credit union cannot affiliate to one of its own descendants"
Choose a union above yours in the movement.
